10 English:
Students should have finished thier short story, Novel character essay, Anthem ending. All are now past due. We shall review the business letter Wednesday and Thursday. Also, we are continuing to review the comma.
11 Culinary:
This week we are in the lab doing traditional Christmas cooking. As well, students are selling tickets to their Final exam banquet, Friday, January 18th. All profits from the banquet will go towards the building of a hospital in Guinea, Africa. Also, there will be an explanation of the healthy cooking classes coming up in the late winter--six classes, covering everything from fat, salt, fibre, Canada Food Guide, sugar, and eating out. Come to the banquet and find out what it is all about.

We are finishing up the 17th century, and moving into the 18th Century. The class will end with the Romantic period. There will be a test on the 17th century on Thursday.
